A strategic position
Nord-Céréales' site is part of the Port of Dunkirk (France), an hour and a half from the world's busiest seaway, and offers all the facilities to cater for the largest vessels.
It is located at the heart of a market serving over 100 million consumers and is recognised as a gateway for all types of goods.
Facing the see, Nord-Céréales is located in the central zone of the port of Dunkirk, on a particularly favourable, strategic site with access to vessels over the 14-m gauge via the Charles De Gaulle lock, with a capacity of 110,000 tonnes.
All modes of road transport combine around the port and the terminal. There are a motorway hub (A16 & A25), major marshalling yards and railroads connected to the site, not to mention waterways, with the canal à grand gabartit (large gauge canal) via the Mardyck lock connecting to Nord-Pas-de-Calais, French-speaking Belgium and the Rhine. You have a choise of roads, waterways or railways to cover the short distance to our plant.
Close to fields too, our silos are the ideal solution for all cooperative and merchants from the Dunkirk hinterland, which is made up of 3 leading regions accounting for 40% of the domestic production of grain (Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Champagne & Picardie).
